Tornadoes arrive without much warning and destroy everything the touch. In December 2010, tornadoes ripped through Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri as well Rolla, a neighboring town. Eileen Lowery’s father and sister work on the base and live in the surrounding area. The tornado’s wake left behind a heavily damaged army base (Fort Leonard Wood) and devastated nearby communities. The military is repairing the base but the local communities (and USO) need a great deal help.
