There are many children living in poverty across the country and across the globe who will receive nothing this Christmas. Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that collects shoe boxes filled with Christmas goodies from local congregations and distributes them all over the world. Samaritan’s Purse follows up with the children to share with them the story and love of Jesus.
SHOEBOX COLLECTION
Boxes are prepared and collected in October-November. Our intentional collection date this season was November 21, 2010 when collected 47 boxes. Our boxes were collected during worship and taken to our area’s collection location after worship.
