The North Carolina Annual Conference (regional body) of The United Methodist Church meets each year for an Annual Conference Session – a combination of business meetings, worship experiences, learning opportunities, and fellowship time attended by the church’s pastor and lay member of the annual conference. Annual Conference 2011 was held in Raleigh, NC at the Raleigh Convention Center, June 14-18.

We are also gathering together a group who may wish to attend and experience AC. Those attending will be able to sit together (with the pastor and lay rep to the annual conference) in all AC sessions, attend all morning/evening special events and worship services, eat together during meal breaks, visit all displays (including the Cokesbury store display), discuss information gleaned, and help birth a vision for our local church. They only thing they WILL NOT be able to do is cast a vote when voting issues reach the floor. If you are interested in coming to AC, fill out this brief registration. Trip will be in contact with you concerning details as they are made available by the Conference office.
