What does “equip” mean in a church context?  It means to have, and learn to use, the spiritual tools to live a Christian life: tools like knowing how to pray, having a Bible that you read and study, and having a servant’s heart-a heart that looks for ways to serve others-here at the Outer Banks and beyond.  At Mighty Wind, our mid-week small groups and Bible studies as well as the Mighty Wind 101 course are the primary ways people are equipped to grow stronger in their faith.  Most groups can be joined at any time. You are invited to text Pastor Elizabeth (252.441.9022) for current equipping opportunities.

6th-12th graders: On Sunday evenings, we connect with the awesome youth ministry at Duck UMC.  You can even catch a ride on Waddles, the Duck bus, in Kill Devil Hills and in Southern Shores to save time and gas money!
